The World's Largest Social Network is Hiring a Supply Chain Analyst Near Menlo Park, CA

HireArt is helping the world’s largest social network hire a Supply Chain Analyst to define, build, manage and produce documentation and reports for the Global Site Sourcing Organization.
As a Supply Chain Analyst, your responsibilities will include:
  • Wiki revamp:
  • Processing and/or reproduction of GSS documents to insure accuracy and release on Wiki.
  • Validation of the processes, process mapping and workflows (swim lanes).
  • Establishing and maintaining list of all materials stored in the GSS Wiki (i.e. maintains project file index, files and library).
  • You will play a crucial role in defining, executing, and improving the organization’s document management strategy.
  • Collaboration with cross-functional departments to ensure timely implementation of changes to controlled documents.
  • Playbook and documentation:
  • Capturing existing business processes.
  • Validating the completeness and accuracy of the processes captured with stakeholder(s) and other Regional Sourcing Managers (RSM's).
  • Collating these business processes into a standardized format across all delivery modules.
  • Producing training and guidance material for the company's audience on how to engage with the services provided by RSM's.
  • Training staff on business processes.
  • Providing quarterly review and refreshing of business processes in coordination with the business towers/pods and at the approval of the company.
  • Conducting regular project updates (as previously agreed upon) with the company RSM and respective business partners. This may include anything from emailing or scheduling conference calls for status updates.
  • Identifying and collating all the various processes that are in use across the GSS group, identified processes need to be classified, mapped out and signed off.
  • Creating a set of processes which reflect how the RSM operates from engagement through to closure including transitions, mapping out workflows, and adopted standard practices across the team.
  • Supporting the effective deployment of the agreed standard processes, including developing training material to ensure that all the end to end process mapping workflows are embedded effectively across the team.
  • Support the reporting of metrics and required documentation.
  • Programmatic Procurement:
  • Collaborate and partner cross-functionally with ICM, QA/QC, GCs, and vendors ensuring RFP schedules are on-track in time for pricing need by dates.
  • Drive reporting capabilities ensuring pricing visibility for Project Sourcing Managers (PSM's) & Site Sourcing Leads (SSL's) for site buyout activities.
  • Develop stand-alone training materials for all parties (Vendors, GC, PSM, SSL, ICM, QA/QC) to reference for onboarding.
  • GSS Reporting:
  • Producing General Contractor OFCI Reports: Proclog Health Score and OTD Data validation.
  • Distributing reports to General Contractor OFCI teams.
  • Establishing a standard cadence for reporting to key stakeholders.
  • Monitoring reports data to identify any changes or trends.
  • Working with a cross-functional team to identify any additional reporting to facilitate business needs

  • 5 years of supply chain/materials experience
  • Must be well organized and comfortable with admin work including an expert level knowledge of PowerPoint/Word
  • Excellent working knowledge of sourcing and supply chain management
  • Ability to provide support reporting and some data analysis
  • Expert ability to analyze financial reports, price proposals and other technical data
  • Expert ability to accurately document and record customer/client information
  • Expert leadership and mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback
  • Expert knowledge of applicable laws and regulations related to purchasing
  • Previous experience with additional computer applications, such as Excel
Commitment: This is a full-time 12-month contract position staffed via HireArt and based in Fremont, CA and Menlo Park, CA. It will be available to candidates local to the Bay Area.
